SaCrafters: SaCrafter's Altered Mini Chipboard Retro T.V. Album

Good Morning Y'all,

     Today I wanted to share with you one of my most favorite Mini Chipboard albums from SaCrafter's. This her Retro Mini T.V. Album. I just ordered 10 of these albums plus several other types to sell at a local pageant this weekend. I fell in love with this album the minute she put it on her website and then she sent me one to alter for my DT project and immediately I thought of a best friends album and so Ethel and Lucy came in mind to me.
     I first gesso the album on all sides and corners with white and then set aside to dry and then painted it with a mint green acrylic paint. and a hot pink for the antenna's. Then when it dried I traced the album onto my decorative papers and then glued on with my Best Glue Ever.
     Then I went to my Cricut machine and found some 3d flowers and frames and cut them. Then I used a few different sprays and dyes to color my flowers. While they were drying I started going through my SaCrafter's stash and found the chipboard embellishments and sentiments that I wanted to use and prepared them. Some I prepared with gesso first and some I stained with my dyes and some I left natural.
     For my final steps I started my layouts of the pages, I always mix and match and just put stuff on randomly till I get the look I want to achieve for my pages and then glue them down with my Best glue Ever or hot glue them down.

For the last steps I used a sharpie black pen and drew lines around the album to make the paint and decorative papers pop and wanted to use the pop art style to match the theme of the album. For the last and final step I used black elastic cording and tied on several small seam binding ribbons and Voila! My project is done.
