     It's almost Spring!
I know it doesn't feel like spring yet, but in just a few days it will be daylight savings time and Spring will have sprung! Lol.

I wanted to share with you my Latest Design Team project for Sa Crafters.  I wanted to make a spring themed banner for my swap partner Kathleen.  I knew that I had some of Marion Smith's Mad Tea Party and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to pull it out and use it.  The Tags that I used for the banner are Chipboard Tags from Sa's store. I traced the shape of the tags on the paper and cut it out. Then glues them on with The Best Glue Ever.  Then I went into my amazing Design Team Stash for Sa Crafters and pulled out several wood and chipboard Embellishments and one wooden Sentiment. I painted most of the embellies with white gesso paint and waited them to dry and then painted them with an assortment of water color pencils, acrylic paint and also distress inks. On the tea cup I used Sa's 6x6 diamond stencil to mimic the diamond pattern in the blue and white paper from Marion Smith.  Sa's cloud embellishment I added  Sno- Tex to give it that fluffy look. For the ornate design on back of the letters I used one of sizzix morrocan die cuts and used my big shot to cut out all six of them and then added pop dots to the back of those and the white chipboard letters. Finally, I  arranged all my Sa Crafter Wood and chipboard embellies how I wanted and then glued them down with my glue gun.
I hope y'all like the banner and don't forget to use my code to get your discount at SaCrafters store.  http://www.sacrafters.com/  Also, Below are more pictures and my Supply list from SaCrafters.
