     Good Morning Y'all,
Today I wanted to share with you one of my most favorite design team projects to date.  Sa's Vintage Mini Typewriter Chipboard album.  She has two sizes the large and the petite, for my project I used the large mini album.
In my project I wanted to use G45 Typography paper pad to give it that perfect vintage feel
and then I began to find all the chipboard and wooden embellies from my DT stash and set them aside.  I  then traced the album pages on to the paper and cut them out, distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz paper distresser to give them the tattered paper look and then used an assortment of his distress inks. I then also used these inks to distress my embellies from SaCrafters and a few pieces of boarder that I cut out with my big kick.
I then painted the front page completely with a beige acrylic paint and then let it dry, after that I dry brushed on a dark green in a distressed fashion to make it look vintage. I then began to paint the rest of the album pages along all the front and back edges with beige and then green also. Once dried I used vintage photo ink on top of the front and edges of all the pages.
After all the pages were ready to go I used my Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect to glue the main pages down, after that I cut out pockets with the left over large pieces of Typography paper and then distressed, inked and then glued the edges on sides and bottom and placed them down to dry. Once I had finished, the first one was ready for me to add on boarder and the sub boarder below, for these I used the word strips that were from the paper line and inked those and glued down also, I suggest glue only because if you use tape and you place it down and are off on the slightest you can't move it, so that's why I love using glue most of the time.
For the last stages of my project I glued down my chipboard embellies and then with a glue gun I glued down the cute little wooden typewriters. Then I cut out tags, added a couple eyelets on some of the tags and ribbon. Then to attach the book together I used black stretchy cord and embellished that with and assortment of seam binding ribbon and decorative ribbons.
I have a video below that goes through the stages of what I used and at the end of the video I show how I prepared a couple of the pages.
Thank you, I hope you enjoy my album as much as I do and have a wonderful day! Don't forget to use my code for your discount:KIMFANS.
